How the information is put together
- We do not assume that every site accepts everything. The City of Vienna's acceptance rules are what count.
- We show opening hours only if the dataset contains them, word for word as published (in German). We only link to the dates of the mobile Problemstoffe (hazardous household waste) collection.
Main sources (official pages in German): Mistplatz acceptance rules (City of Vienna, MA 48), Mistplatz-ABC: waste types and quantities (City of Vienna, MA 48). All datasets, licences and retrieval dates: Method and data sources.
This is orientation based on published data, not an official decision and not legal or tax advice. For Problemstoffe (hazardous household waste), only the information from MA 48 (the City of Vienna's waste management department) applies.
Text in italics is quoted as published by the City of Vienna, in German, and is not translated. Location words in addresses: neben = next to, gegenüber or ggü = opposite, vor = in front of, bei = at. In opening hours: Mo, Di, Mi, Do, Fr, Sa, So = Monday to Sunday, Uhr = o'clock, Feiertag = public holiday.
